We regularly communicate the economic value and interests of the
Hospitality Industry to Monterey County residents and members of the
business community. This is accomplished through monthly articles in the
Monterey Herald, an updated website and blog, occasional Public Service
Announcements, and speaking engagements. Our Membership Sales person
reaches out to potential members and shares how MCHA advocates and
protects our Industry and helps to promote the economic vitality in the
County. Through our Mentor and Ambassador Program, we strive to ensure
new members are welcomed and integrated into MCHA.
The primary goals of the Ambassador Committee are to expand and retain
membership, and increase membership participation. We accomplish this
through various forms of Outreach, communicating our MCHA message to those
who reside in Monterey County, and inviting organizations involved in
hospitality to join and participate in MCHA. We also concentrate on
Member Care, connecting and communicating with our membership so they
receive the greatest value from being an MCHA member.
The Ambassador/PR Committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of the
Month, 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
