ANNUAL DINNER: Mark Your Calendars for MCHA’s Annual Dinner which will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the beautiful InterContinental, The Clement Monterey hotel to welcoming our incoming Chair John Turner and award MCHA's winner of Hospitality Professional of the Year for 2011.  This is one of the best gala extravagant events of the year a Not to Miss.

EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION DAY (EAD): Was Wednesday June 15th, 2011, Monterey County Fairgrounds. Monthly meetings begin in February. This is a fun day of recreation provided by local businesses that donate FREE activities for the hardworking employees in the hospitality industry to enjoy. The day is a huge MCHA member celebration where staff from Monterey County Hotels, restaurants and businesses will be treated to complimentary kayaking at Monterey Bay Kayaks and Adventures by the Sea; equestrian exploits at Pebble Beach Company, golf from Bayonet and Blackhorse, Quail Lodge Golf Course, whale watching with Chris’ Fishing and Randy’s trips, Monterey Bay Aquarium Tickets, Monterey Sports Center Tickets, and a host of other fun events, including Doug’s Movie Tours.. What better way to say thanks to the hard working individuals in hospitality?

Congratulations to the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa for winning the Overall Competition at Employee Appreciation Day June 15th at the Monterey Fairgrounds. They had stiff competition from the most diverse field of competitors we have seen at these competitions....

ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT: The 21st Annual Nick Lombardo Memorial Golf Tournament took place on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch.  Keep checking back for 2012 details.
