Trick question: When is the most important time of year to focus on Performance Management? If you answered during the mid-year or year-end review, then you MUST come to this seminar!
Performance Management in its true form starts when an employee is hired and is practiced every day of their employment. When it is done well, managing an employee’s expectations and performance is a critical component to reducing turnover and increasing morale. This seminar will review the whole picture of Performance Management. You will learn about the many steps of this process; from the start of setting expectations for the job to regular one-on-one meetings. We will also cover providing honest feedback, having difficult conversations, disciplinary warnings, and the reasons behind a formalized review process. This seminar will help managers, supervisors and HR personnel view the value of a consistent Performance Management practice, and how to implement its steps.
Leadership Series Members must register
Reserve your space by Friday, October 25th. Space is Limited and RSVP’s are required. $25 fee for MCHA members and $40 fee for non-members.
